1. The Service

WatchVault is a platform for tracking luxury watch prices, managing personal collections, and connecting with other watch enthusiasts. These terms cover the web app, mobile apps, and any associated services.

2. Price Data Disclaimer

Watch prices displayed on WatchVault are estimates for informational purposes only. They are aggregated from public sources and community submissions and may not reflect actual market transaction prices. WatchVault is not a marketplace and does not facilitate direct watch purchases. Do not make financial decisions based solely on WatchVault price data.

3. Plans & Pricing

• WatchVault is currently free for all users
• We may introduce optional paid tiers in the future — you'll be notified in advance
• Any future payments would be processed through Paddle (Merchant of Record)

4. Future Paid Features

• If paid tiers are introduced, subscriptions would auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime — access continues until end of billing period
• After expiration, your account reverts to free tier (collection data preserved)
• Refunds within 14 days — email us

5. Your Data

Your watch collection, photos, and preferences are your data. You can export your collection anytime. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Community Guidelines

WatchVault includes social features. When using community features:

• Be respectful to other collectors
• Don't post counterfeit watches as genuine
• Don't spam or advertise without permission
• Don't attempt to manipulate price data
• Don't share others' personal information

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't:

• Scrape or harvest price data programmatically
• Share your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineer the application or its APIs
• Use the service for anything illegal

8. Intellectual Property

Watch brand names, logos, and model names are trademarks of their respective owners. WatchVault is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any watch brand listed on the platform.

9. Disclaimers

WatchVault is provided "as is." We work hard on accuracy and reliability but can't guarantee 100% uptime or 100% accurate price data. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on WatchVault data.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for inaccurate price data, missed price alerts, or any indirect damages.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or in-app notification.
